電視廣播(美國)有限公司 TVB (USA) Inc. (“TVBUSA”), 總部設在美國南加州洛杉磯縣諾瓦克市(Norwalk),是位於香港的電視廣播有限公司 TVB 集團 (“TVB”) 旗下全資擁有的附屬公司。 TVB 是全球最大中文電視節目供應商之一,每年製作的節目超過二萬小時。其優質中文節目遍達全球 200 多個國家及地區。

TVBUSA 在一九八四年,於鄰近洛杉磯的華人社區─蒙特利公園市成立,開始其有線電視服務(Cable TV)。服務遍佈南加州聖蓋博谷區。亦於一九九一年,服務擴展至北加州的三藩市。翡翠衛星平台於一九九四年誕生,透過衛星以模擬系統播放廿四小時的中文節目。更於二 OOO 年,晉身為數碼轉播的多頻道系統。二 OO 九年,TVBUSA 新增了紐約區有線電視服務,並於同年,登上了全美兩大電訊公司的電視平台。

現在,在傳統電視媒體上,TVBUSA 透過主流有線電視網 (Spectrum TV 和 Xfinity/Comcast)、衛星電視 (DISH) 、機頂盒串流電視 (SlingTV) 和電話公司電視平台 (U-verse TV 和 Fios TV),帶給全美國的觀眾具有娛樂和資訊性的中文電視節目。

近年來在互聯網及智能手機裝置的盛行下,TVBUSA 因應市場的變化,在 2019 年推出 TVBAnywhere North America 應用程式和網站,開拓新的數碼串流媒體市場, 用最新的應用程式和互聯網擴大覆蓋到整個北美洲(包括加拿大和美國)。現在全北美洲觀衆可以隨時瀏覽上述網站收看,亦可以在手機和平板裝置平台 (蘋果 IOS 和安卓 Android),和北美主流的智能電視裝置平台 (AppleTV, FireTV, Roku, AndroidTV, Samsung Smart TV, Rogers/Shaw – igniteTV Box) 下載上述程式後隨時隨地收看實時串流頻道及點播節目。

在節目服務方面,TVBUSA 特別提供三條獨立頻道 – 洛杉磯翡翠綜合台,三藩市翡翠台,紐約翡翠綜合台,  經當地有線電視網,服務衆多華人聚居的洛杉磯、三藩市及紐約市。此外,在多個傳統電視以及新互聯網及串流媒體上,TVBUSA 就提供多條全國性的電視頻道 – TVB1 翡翠一台 、 TVBe 翡翠娛樂台、無綫新聞台、翡翠劇集台和 TVBJ1 翡翠綜合台。除了頻道節目,TVBUSA 還有海量的點播節目提供給多個不同媒體和平台去服務北美的觀衆。以上的服務讓所有北美的觀衆不論日夜隨時收看。

除此之外,TVBUSA 亦致力瞄準整個北美非華語人的市場。在越南語方面,提供一條越南語配音的 TVB 劇集頻道 (TVBV),並透過主流有線電視網 Spectrum TV 和電話公司電視平台 U-verse 服務在美國的越南觀衆。對於其他非華語人方面,TVBUSA 提供英文字幕的 TVB 串流頻道 (FAST Channel) – TVB Pearl Drama 和 點播劇集 (VOD) 以合作授權方式,提供給與北美主流第三方新媒體 (Amazon Prime, Tubi TV, PLEX TV) 去服務不同的非華語人群組。

Headquartered in Norwalk, California, TVB (USA) Inc. (“TVBUSA”) is a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of the Hong Kong based, TVB Group (“TVB”).  TVB is one of the largest distributors of Chinese-language television programs in the world, producing more than 20,000 hours of programs every year that are made available all over the globe in 200 countries and areas.

TVBUSA was established in 1984 in Monterey Park, a Chinese community near Los Angeles, and began its cable television service. Services are available throughout the San Gabriel Valley area of Southern California. In 1991, the service was extended to San Francisco, Northern California. The Emerald Satellite Platform was born in 1994 to broadcast 24 hours of Chinese programs through satellites in an analog system. In 2000, it became a multi-channel system for digital broadcasting. In 2009, TVBUSA added cable TV service in the New York area, and in the same year, it was listed on the TV platforms of the two major telecommunications companies in the United States.

Now, on traditional TV media, TVBUSA brings entertaining and informative Chinese television programs to audiences across the United States through major cable networks (Spectrum TV and Xfinity/Comcast), satellite television (DISH), set-top box streaming television (SlingTV) and telephone company TV platforms (U-verse TV and Fios TV).

In response to the prevalence of the Internet and smartphone devices in recent years, TVBUSA launched the TVBAnywhere North America app and website in 2019 to open up a new digital streaming market and expand its coverage to the whole of North America (including Canada and the United States) with the latest apps and the Internet. Viewers throughout North America can now download the above programs anytime, anywhere, and can download them on mobile and tablet platforms (Apple IOS and Android), as well as major North American smart TV platforms (AppleTV, FireTV, Roku, AndroidTV, Samsung Smart TV, Rogers/Shaw – igniteTV Box) and watch live streaming channels and on-demand programming anytime, anywhere.

In terms of programming services, TVBUSA provides three independent channels – Los Angeles TVBJ2 channel, San Francisco Jade Channel, and New York TVBJ1 Channel, which serve the most Chinese-populated cities in US – Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York City, through local cable networks. In addition, TVBUSA offers multiple national TV channels on traditional TV, as well as new Internet and streaming media – TVB1, TVBe, TVB News, TVB Drama and TVBJ1 Channels. Besides channel services, TVBUSA also offers a wide range of on-demand programming to a variety of media and platforms to serve audiences in North America.  All of the above services are available to all North American viewers at anytime and anywhere.

In addition, TVBUSA is also committed to targeting the entire North American non-Chinese speaking market. In Vietnamese, it provides a Vietnamese-dubbed TVB drama channel (TVBV) and serves Vietnamese viewers in the United States through Spectrum TV, a major cable television network, and U-verse, a telephone company’s television platform. For other non-Chinese speakers, TVBUSA provides a FAST Channel – TVB Pearl Drama and video-on-demand programs with English subtitles to serve different non-Chinese speaking groups with mainstream third-party new media (Amazon Prime, Tubi TV, PLEX TV) in North America.
